Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 19, 2026
Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how SIG National, LLC, a Louisiana limited liability company (SPARK Partners, “we”, “us”), handles information when you visit our website, contact us, or hold an account in the SPARK Partners Partner portal. We keep things simple and transparent.
Information you provide to us
When you contact SPARK Partners by email or telephone, or submit a form on this website, we may receive information such as your name, email address, phone number, organization, role, and the details you choose to share in your message. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and to send the resources you request.
Partner portal accounts
If you hold a Partner account, we store the profile information you provide — including your name, contact details, organization, role, state, and any biography or areas of expertise you choose to add — along with the content you post in Partner discussions, your event registrations, and your resource activity.
Profile information and discussion posts are visible to other signed-in Partners of SPARK Partners. They are not public and are not indexed by search engines. Your password is stored only as a cryptographic hash and is never visible to us.
You may update or request deletion of your account information at any time by contacting us at the address below.
Signing in with Google
Google is currently the only third-party sign-in we offer. If you choose it, we receive your name, email address, and Google’s permanent identifier for your account. We store the identifier so we can recognize you next time, and nothing else. We do not receive your password, and we request only your basic profile and email address — never access to your mail, contacts, files, or calendar. If we add another provider we will update this policy before turning it on.
Signing in this way never creates a SPARK Partners account. It only signs in an account that already exists. You can disconnect a provider at any time from Security in your portal profile.
The weekly brief
If you subscribe to the Weekly Industry Intelligence Brief we keep your email address, the name, organization and role you give us, and when you subscribed and confirmed. Each issue we send records whether it was delivered, whether it was opened (through a small image in the email, which some mail apps load automatically and others block) and which links in it you followed, so we can tell which parts are useful. Every issue has an unsubscribe link; after you use it we send you no more issues and keep only enough to honor that choice.
AI tools in the Partner portal
The portal offers AI tools, such as a review of meeting notes. What you enter is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to produce the answer. Anthropic does not use it to train its models. We record that a tool was used and how much it produced, but we keep what you entered and the answer only if you ask us to, in your own history, which you can delete at any time.
Cookies, analytics, and your choice
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views, so we can see which parts of the site are useful. It is anonymous and aggregate: it sets no cookies, stores no identifier on your device, and does not follow you to other websites. We are told that a page was viewed, from roughly where and on what kind of device — not who viewed it.
Because it is cookieless it would not legally require your permission, but we ask anyway, and declining genuinely stops it: if you choose Decline the analytics script is never loaded at all, rather than loaded and told to stay quiet. You can change your answer at any time using Analytics preferences at the foot of any page. Your answer is remembered in your browser’s local storage, under sig_analytics_consent, so that we do not have to keep asking.
Beyond that, there is no advertising, no behavioral tracking, and no third-party tags or pixels. Even the typefaces are served from our own domain, so no outside service learns that you visited.
We set exactly two cookies, and only if you sign in:
- sig_session — keeps you signed in to the Partner portal for up to 14 days. It contains a signed token and no personal information, and it cannot be read by scripts in your browser.
- sig_oauth — used for ten minutes during a “Continue with Google” sign-in to confirm the request that comes back is the one you started. It is discarded as soon as you land.
Both are strictly necessary to sign you in and keep you signed in, so neither depends on the choice above. Signing out removes the first.
Technical information from our hosts
Our hosting and security providers record basic technical information about requests to the site — things like IP address, browser type, and which page was requested — in their own server logs. This is what lets them serve the site and defend it against abuse. We use it for security and to understand load. It is not combined with your Partner profile and is not used to build a picture of you.
Links to third-party services
Our website links to third-party services such as Calendly, which we use for scheduling informational meetings. These services operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their policies, as this Privacy Policy does not cover their practices.
How we use information
We use the information we receive to:
- Respond to your inquiries.
- Send the resources and updates you request.
- Administer informational meetings, working sessions, and events.
- Operate the Partner portal and the Partner directory.
- Understand how the website is used.
- Protect the security and integrity of the website and portal.
We do not sell personal information
SPARK Partners does not sell personal information. We do not share Partner information with sponsors or providers without the Partner’s explicit request or consent.
How long we keep information
We keep Partner account information, profile details, and discussion posts for as long as the account is open, and after it closes for as long as the discussion record remains useful to the Partners who took part — a thread that another Partner is still relying on does not become more useful with one side of it removed. Enquiries and form submissions are kept for up to two years. Records we are required to keep for legal or accounting reasons are kept for as long as that requires.
If you ask us to delete your information we will do so, except where we are required to keep it. Where a discussion post cannot be removed without breaking a thread others are relying on, we will tell you and can detach it from your name instead.
How we protect information
The site is served only over an encrypted connection. Passwords are stored as salted cryptographic hashes and are never readable by us or recoverable by anyone. Portal pages, Partner discussions, and the directory require a signed-in account and are not indexed by search engines. Administrative actions are recorded in an audit log.
No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information we will tell you and any regulator we are required to notify, without undue delay.
Children
This is a professional partnership service for people who administer self-insured groups. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
